Hey Pastor Bill;
I think this might apply . . . as i was facing something recently that i knew that i could not handle. . . not convincing me. . . nope . . . i knew i couldn't handle it . . .and tried my best to find someway out, someone to take over . . . anyone to hand off to, but there was no way out of it. . . only THROUGH IT. . . and you and others prayed for me . . . and God showed me that His grace was sufficient . . . and when i was at that point of being beyond my own strength, saying to myself, "Okay, there's no way out and here i am . . . and i can't do this . . . Jesus, please help me." . . . God did step in and He did take over and He did strengthen me . . . and He did a wonderful job . . and i grew in my faith through it . . . Thanks for your prayers and support . . .

Pastor Bill:
I focused on the phrase containing "escape" and left out the "bear." Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

Good stuff pastor bill, this is a vital topic for chistians. When the real heavy circumstances of life come our way ( death of a child, loss of a relationship(s) to death,divorce or sin, financial ruin, major health problems etc.. The list can become quite large) christians can be tempted to become bitter toward God and actually compound the problem and render themselves useless for kingdom. The key in my opinion is having faith and faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Faith sees heaven as our home not here. Faith sees things as God sees them and that everything here is passing away except the words of Christ. His words are words of comfort. If we are sensing an inability to handle a situation and a lack of faith we have only to repent and read Gods word and stand on the promises therin. These promises are powerful if we would believe them and the character of Him who makes them. Hope this helps.
