" debilitating emotional and mental anguish." so...this is what I am feeling......
very well put... but I am too debilitated to even draw close to the Lord....
I suppose I need prayer...and lots of it, to help me get back to the place I once was so long ago...in His arms.

I have been running away for so long, seeking acceptance from the world or really just from a man any man, that would love me, that I ended up alone (again) when all along I needed to stop running away and allow Him to love me to accept me....
very wise words Pastor Bill...... but then again you are always full of wise words.

As someone who is definitely a new creation in Christ, I say "amen!" to this. There is no sincere acceptance of self unless one is accepted in Christ first.

I like your words: "The Christian who is desperate to be accepted by people they can see, will run past the God they can't see". There are so many hurting people; it's sad. I minister to a very hurt women in my life and these words are so valuable to me. Thanks.

Thank you, again, Pastor Bill;
This is a liberating reminder of the grace we have in Christ and the struggle we all have to keep ourselves in the love of God as we're exhorted in Jude 21 - What gets in the way of our faith is our doubt which quenches
the Holy Spirit's ability to work God's love into our lives.
