Tomales! I always get in the Christmas spirit whem I see displays of those big aluminum tomale steamers in the grocery stores. I saw a guy walking accross the parking lot at Albertsons today with one of those pots and a bag of masa. As we passed I exclaimed “tomales!” and he echoed me, but with a big grin on his face. I miss my next door neighbors who made tomales Christmas eve. We would trade cookies for tomales.
I am going to be a little late to church tonight, Gotta make a quick stop at my local Mexican market.
Start without me.
Wow ~ how fun to post something on youtube.com! ~ Youtube is a great avenue for ministry, too ~ was it hard to do? CHRISTmas blessings and love you and yours ~

Hee, hee, hee! My neighbor use to make the best also! Debbie, do you make them? Are you willing to share a recipe and all the tips with a sister in the far away land of Oregon?
I hope you all had a great Christmas celebrating our Lord and all He has done for us! It must of been a blast to share in Bella’s first Christmas!
Hey Becky,
No, Debbie has never learned how to make tamales. But then again, neither have I. I think, so far, mooching them from others is the best way to go.
